Shelter’s special coverage with renovation cost homeowner’s policy offers protection against many things which could cause loss to your property.
In addition to holding many fond memories for you and your family, your home represents a considerable investment. Protect it with Shelter’s special coverage with renovation cost homeowner’s policy.
How much would it cost to repair your home should a loss occur? This policy will repair your home and return it to a habitable condition using building materials commonly used in new construction today. Equally important, losses paid on this basis are not subject to depreciation as long as the property is repaired within one year (roofs may or may not be subject to depreciation depending on the renovation cost option selected). The maximum limit payable will be the policy limit you set. If for any reason you prefer to use different materials or make other repair adjustments, payments are made for the actual cash value (modified cash value, which does not include a payment for general contractors’ overhead and profit, in Tennessee only) at the time of the loss. The special coverage with renovation cost homeowner’s policy can help protect your investment and see that your family’s possessions aren’t lost should some unfortunate disaster occur.
* Roofs may or may not be subject to depreciation, depending on the Renovation Cost option selected.
